2004 was the year Lego found itself on the verge of bankruptcy. Strategically deciding to go back to their roots,
and focus on their core product, the brick, Lego has experienced a profit margin of 10% YoY since 2014. Despite the
general population becoming increasingly digitally focused, it became apparent that a child’s physical play remains
just as important as the digital play they have access to. Determining the marriage of the two, allowed Lego to focus
on the physical, whilst exploring opportunities in the digital and connected space. This session will focus on:
